Guidelines for returns:

• All books must be returned in the original condition in which it was purchased. SHRINK WRAPPED ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE IF OPENED.
• We do not accept returns without a valid register receipt. This is required for all refunds or exchanges.
• Refunds are generally, issued in the same method as the original method of payment. With the exception of checks, which are refunded after 10 business days or after the check has cleared.
• The Bookpeddler bookstore may elect to refund any payment using a store account or gift card.
• All merchandise purchased as “Sale” and/or “Clearance” may not be returned or exchanged.
• The Bookpeddler Bookstore reserves the right to request an ID during any transaction or to deny any refund, exchange, or price adjustment.
• The Bookpeddler Bookstore management reserves the right to make the decision on the condition or salability of any merchandise.
• We sell only new books and we take care to ensure that all books are in good condition. Books may only be returned if the pages are upside down, in scattered page format or contain other printing errors.
• Board games, Tote bags, bookmarks, and other accessories are non-returnable.
• We treat every return request on a case by case basis.

 Other items: 

• Shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Special orders are non-refundable.
• Books may be returned within 14 days of purchase. Books must be in new condition, with the receipt attached to the product or Invoice number stated for electronic receipts.
• Closeout and/or clearance items are non-refundable.

Delivery Charges & Timeline 

• Delivery charges & timelines are determined by our third party delivery partners. Please take the timeline into consideration if you need to place an order with a deadline such as a birthday or other event. Alternatively, you can pick up from the store during our working hours.
• Delivery is to your doorstep. We neither deliver to bus stops nor through motor parks. Failure to provide a full delivery address will result in delays with processing your order and may lead to eventual cancellation. In the event that your order is cancelled, we will offer you a refund.
• Customers within Lagos may choose to pick up at the store, our delivery address and working hours will be sent with your invoice via email upon payment completion. 
• Delivery working days: Monday – Friday except public holidays
• Delivery working hours: 10am – 6pm

LAGOS

OUTSIDE LAGOS (within Nigeria)

We offer two shipping methods to locations outside Lagos (within Nigeria).

1. STANDARD DELIVERY: 5 – 10 working days.
2. EXPRESS DELIVERY: 4 – 6 working days.

Shipping charges are based on the total weight of your package and preferred delivery timeline. Total shipping cost is usually calculated at check out.

The base cost is for packages weighing 2kg or less, while the additional cost is for every extra kg after the first 2kg.
